This is why I married him.
I woke up to this cute face embedded on our little blog Nathaniel set up for us. Now, as previously mentioned, we have Skype to facilitate our daily 'good mornings' and 'goodnights' so that we can see each other face to face (or screen to screen) and make fake kissy noises to tuck each other in. It's a great invention and we both feel so blessed to have it at our fingertips. But...sometimes you feel a little silly talking to a computer and getting so excited about it. Sometimes it feels a teensy unnatural to look into a camera as an attempt at eye contact. And it's even a bit strange to be doing the dishes and look over at a pixelated version of what should be your husband. So, our blog is a nice outlet for thought-provoking convo and a little love note here and there. It even sometimes feels a bit more real than even Skype. When I logged on to find this little message, I could barely resist the urge to share it. This is what I signed up for, people. I think I made a pretty good choice.

That was way funny and awesome. My husband and I watched it together and we were very impressed =)
ReplyDeleteSo in my little blog list sidebar thing-a-ma-jog it keeps saying you have this post titled 'if snowflakes were kisses I'd send you a blizzard' then I come to look and nothing is to be found of that title. It says its a week old....so I keep wondering about this mystery post and thought I'd let you know :)
ReplyDeleteOh, sorry about that, Aimoku. That's the post I sent to Kristen on the secret blog that had this video on it originally. I accidentally posted it on this one first, then realized my mistake and deleted it to post it on the other one.
